Mark II CMU
Ancillary Equipment and tools
- Loading software
and/or database into the Mark II CMU with a portable dataloader
requires a PDL to CMU adapter cable (PN 704-2619-002)
- Loading software
and/or database into the Mark II CMU using PCMCIA media requires
a front connector plug (PN 704-2659-001)
- Installation
of the Mark II CMU for ARINC 758 wiring requires an Aircraft Personality
Module (APM) (PN 964-0465-001)
- To modify
the airline customizable AOC database, the ACARS
Reconfiguration Tool (ART) is required. Airlines may also
request modifications be performed by Honeywell (see Ground Based
tools for specific part number)
- To emulate
on a PC the operation of the CMU as well as other components of
the aircraft and air/ground ACARS system, the Airsim
tool is required (see Ground Based tools for specific part number)
